New Jersey Judge Approves Pet Food Class Action Settlement
Bellas & Wachowski Attorneys at Law filed one of the first class action lawsuits against the manufacturers of contaminated pet food in early 2007. This was one of many cases which were filed nationally. All of the cases were consolidated into a multi-district case and were transferred to a Judge in New Jersey to resolve.
On May 30, 2008, the Judge approved a settlement of a class action regarding contaminated pet food claims against the manufacturers. You can check the products you've used or purchased on the recalled product list.
If you and your pet were affected by poisonous pet food and/or treats that were recalled after March 16, 2007, you may be entitled to claim a part of the $24,000,000 cash Settlement Fund.
In order to ensure you receive full and fair compensation for your loss and economic hardship, you must submit a claim form before November 24, 2008. You will need adobe reader to access the form. Please read all the information regarding the pet food settlement carefully as the deadline for submitting your claim, and the only way to receive a payment, is November 24, 2008.
